Kaia tops list of celeb kids

-

KAIA Gerber, the daughter of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, may be just 15, but she’s already the most in-demand model for celebrity endorsements.

Kaia has a lucrative deal with Marc Jacobs for its Daisy fragrance, but we’re told her supermodel mom is being extremely protective of her teenage daughter, who has inherited her Crawford’s photogenic features, and the business decisions she makes.

A source said, “Kaia has brands lining up right now to work with her, but her mom is encouraging her to choose wisely.”

Kaia is the latest in a series of celebrity kids to emerge helped by the interest from brands and fashion labels. Industry insiders say Kendall Jenner and the Hadid sisters — Gigi and Bella — are commanding millions for endorsement deals, so fragrance and fashion brands are looking for the next It girls and boys. Those, we are told, include Gerber, Paris Jackson — who just signed a deal with Calvin Klein worth nearly $2 million — and Sistine, Sophia and Scarlet Stallone, the daughters of Sylvester who appeared onstage at the Golden Globes in January. Sofia Richie is also in demand, having landed a campaign with UK-based fashion brand Pretty Little Thing. Even Madonna’s daughter Lourdes Leon is starting to step out of her mother’s shadow. Leon and Richie appeared together in a campaign for Stella McCartney’s Pop fragrance.

And it is not just the girls. Scott Eastwood, son of Clint, is the face, and body, of Davidoff Cool Water fragrances. And Anwar Hadid, the little brother of Gigi and Bella, has a deal with IMG models and has appeared on the cover of Teen Vogue.

Branding guru Ryan Schinman, co-founder of Mayflower Entertainment, said, “The hottest trend for endorsements continues to be celebrity kids, who are starting to command higher and higher prices. It seems every couple of weeks there’s a new celebrity kid doing an endorsement. Every time you think the trend is about to end, a new crop of kids pop up.”
