Bride and joy as Don crashes nups
The Crasher-in-Chief has struck again.
President Trump made a surprise appearance at Kristen Piatkowski and Tucker Gladhill’s wedding at his Bedminster, NJ, golf club on Saturday night, dancing with the bride and shaking hands with guests.
“The bride came running out and he gave her a big hug and a kiss so she was just ecstatic. And then the groom found out, too,” Sean Burke, a wedding guest, told The Washington Post. “No one knew it was going to happen.”
Trump is well known for joining wedding parties at his resorts.
In February, he and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe dropped in on a wedding reception at Mar-a-Lago, Trump’s private resort in Palm Beach, Fla., after the first national security crisis of his young administration.
North Korea had launched a missile into the Sea of Japan and the two leaders held a joint news conference.
Afterward, noticing the wedding party, Trump decided to stop by the Grand Ballroom celebration.
“I saw them out on the lawn today and I said to the prime minister of Japan, I said, ‘Come on, Shinzo, let’s go over and say hello,’ ” Trump said at the time
His crashing ceremonies is so common, in fact, that a now-discontinued brochure from the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster touted that his possible appearance was an added feature of booking a wedding there.
“If [Trump] is on-site for your big day, he will likely stop in & congratulate the happy couple. He may take some photos with you but we ask you and your guests to be respectful of his time & privacy,” the brochure said.
