Matador suffers gory death

A Spanish matador was gored to death fighting a bull in France on Saturday.

Ivan Fandino, 36, had tripped on his cape in Aire-sur-l’Adour and fallen to the ground when the bull went for him, goring him in the right side.

Fellow bullfighters removed him from the arena and he underwent emergency surgery in a facility at the bull ring before being rushed to a hospital.

His last words, spoken in desperation to an ambulance crew, were, “Hurry up, I’m dying!’’ Britain’s Telegraph newspaper reported. He was dead on arrival at a hospital.
