Reptile lover is snake-bit

A snake bit its owner in the foot in a Manhattan apartment early Saturday, police said.

Waldo Santiago suffered the bite in his fifth-floor apartment on West 45th Street near Ninth Avenue in Hell’s Kitchen at around 5:15 a.m., police sources said.

Santiago, 53, went to Jacobi Medical Center in The Bronx stable condition, according to police. He has since been discharged.

Cops could not confirm the whereabouts of the snake.
