Weird BUT true

A doll dubbed the “Bride of Chucky” is spooking the residents of Cusco in southeastern Peru.

The blond doll has been filmed talking and moving apparently after its batteries were removed, terrifying some locals, who think it’s possessed.

Nearly 1,000 bees invaded a California home, covering an entire wall in one room.

It all started when the Huntington Beach homeowners noticed one or two insects, then discovered they had taken over an entire room.

They taped up the fireplace and called a bee expert, who was able to save the hive’s queen and will relocate the swarm.

The San Antonio Zoo described white-cheeked gibbons as “nature’s acrobats” earlier this month.

And as if to prove the claim, one of the apes escaped its enclosure Friday. The gibbon slipped through the netting surrounding its habitat and was caught on camera running toward some nearby trees.

It was re-captured without anyone getting hurt.

Fortunately, someone else was around to make a call to firefighters after a man in Turkey dropped his phone down a toilet — then got his arm stuck inside as he tried to retrieve it.

The man went fishing in the toilet in a hospital in the city of Erzurum. When he realized he was stuck, he shouted for help and hospital staff called rescuers.

It took an hour to free the man’s arm. The phone was never found.

A Virginia coffee shop has found a way to make customers be nice to the staff — by giving discounts to polite people.

Ordering a “small coffee” at Cups in Roanoke will result in a $5 tab, but a “small coffee, please” is just $3. Add a “hello!” and the price drops to $1.75.

The owner said he just wanted customers to realize that, “we’re all people behind the counter.”
