WHACK BACK AT VAC

-

Jerry Geraci: I am an original Titans fan from the Polo Grounds. I now live in Texas. Bring back Al Dorow! At least they were fun to watch and the seats were cheap. I pity the season ticket holders!

Vac: The irony is, if there’s one thing the Jets already have been quite good at for most of their

history, it’s for being awful. Now they have to TRY to be awful?

Timothy Foster: The Mets aren’t just snakebit. They are snakebit like they fell into a snake pit! Vac: And not just rattlesnakes or

garden snakes, either, but inland Taipan snakes. (Look it up. They’re bad.)

@joec924: Someone should make a “30-for-30” on the Tom Seaver trade, with all that intrigue you

wrote about, paper vs. paper and Grant vs. Seaver. Hell, someone should make movie.

@MikeVacc: I could throw in a “Poseidon Adventure” or “Airport ’77” joke here but …

wait, I guess I just did, right?

Marty Pinchin: Sadly, June 15, 1977, was the day M. Donald Grant lost me as a Mets fan. Because of a series of pitiful ownerships I have never had the stomach to return. I will remain a loyal Yankees fan for life. Vac: Note to Yankees: Do not trade Aaron Judge!
