Tony Bennett family shock

-

“SHOCK waves” are running through Tony Bennett’s family, we’re told, after his son announced that his girlfriend is pregnant — on the day that her father was sentenced to jail for his part in the Jerry Sandusky- Penn State childsex scandal.

Danny Bennett — also the legendary crooner’s manager — is expecting with Hadley Spanier, daughter of Graham Spanier, who was recently sentenced to two months in jail and two more under house arrest for failing to report a 2001 allegation that Sandusky was molesting young boys.

We’re told the “I Left My Heart in San Francisco” singer’s family is horrified that his name is now associated with one of the most infamous pedophilia scandals of recent years.

“Tony has grandchildren — including this new one — and it’s jarring to know that he now shares one with someone who has tolerated child abuse,” said an insider. “It’s created some shock waves.”

We’re told that the family is baffled about why Danny and Hadley announced that they are pregnant with their first child on June 2 — the same day as her father’s sentencing.

Hadley was previously married to financier Edouard Cuilhé. Her father lead their 2010 wedding ceremony.

Hadley was hired by Danny’s RPM Productions music management and production company, and he brought her over to legendary jazz record label Verve Records when he took over as CEO and chairman in 2016.

According to CNN, Graham Spanier — who was Penn State’s president from 1995 to 2011 — was found guilty in March of one misdemeanor count of endangering the welfare of a child.

He will be on probation for two years and will have to pay a $7,500 fine.

A court found that Graham — along with several other members of the Penn State staff — had reason to believe Sandusky’s behavior was inappropriate but didn’t report that to authorities.

Reps for Danny didn’t get back to us.
