Tarantino’s double

-

DIRECTOR and movie buff Quentin Tarantino hosted an “old-school double feature” of his onetime-girlfriend Sofia Coppola’s new film “The Beguiled” — and the 1971 original that inspired it, starring Clint Eastwood — at his LA movie house, the New Beverly Cinema. Fans lined up around the block to pack the special, soldout event. A spy said, “Sofia had a 35mm version of her film especially made just for the screening, since Tarantino only projects celluloid film — nothing digital.” Tarantino watched both films and was “geeking out with the audience” for nearly four hours. Tarantino and Coppola dated in 2004.
