Linda Macklowe: Give me $1B

-

AS billionaire New York real estate titan Harry Macklowe and his wife of 58 years, Linda, continue to dispute their dire divorce — she is challenging him to pay up his “promised” $1 billion settlement.

Harry, who infamously told a string of “take my wife” jokes outside of his first divorce hearing in April, had quipped to The Post that he’d give Linda a cool $1 billion to sign divorce papers so he’d be free to marry his much younger blond French mistress, Patricia Landeau.

A Manhattan judge on Monday set a September trial for the Macklowe divorce after attorneys said they could not reach a settlement, and Linda is fighting back.

She told Page Six in an exclusive statement, “I read in the New York Post in April that Harry told you he has $2 billion and that he is offering me $1 billion.”

She continued, “I have not seen that offer nor anything like it. If that is the offer, I will take it and we will be done tomorrow.”

Sources say the longtime spouses are still battling over money and ownership of their vast art collection, said to be worth $1 billion.

Linda is an avid art collector and a trustee at the Guggenheim and Met board member. Family sources say the art collection is in her name — which Harry is fiercely contesting.

Meanwhile New York society is abuzz about an Instagram post by artist Rorik Ravel, who shared a photo of a beaming Harry Macklowe and his mistress, with Landeau wearing a wedding ring, accompanied by the words, “With my newly wedded and happy cousins.”

But sources close to Harry insist that he and Landeau have not yet wed, although he does intend to marry her once his messy divorce is finalized. And to make matters even more muddled, Landeau seems to be still married to her French husband, Marc Landeau.

Harry declined to comment on Tuesday when asked if he’d offer up $1 billion to end the agony with Linda.
