METS: Jay Bruce is the 12th player in team history to hit 20 or more home runs prior to the All-Star break (it’s now happened 17 times). Yoenis Cespedes did it last year with 21 first-half homers.

MARLINS: According to Stats LLC, Giancarlo Stanton has reached the 20-homer plateau in each of his eight seasons in the majors. He became the 11th player in major league history to have 20-plus home runs in each of his first eight seasons, joining Eddie Mathews (first 14 seasons), Albert Pujols (12), Frank Robinson (12), Mark Teixeira (10), Ted Williams (10), Joe DiMaggio (10), Darryl Strawberry (nine), Eddie Murray (nine), Ralph Kiner (nine) and Bob Johnson (nine).
