Shkreli skewers ‘JV’ prosecutors

The “Pharma Bro” just can’t keep his mouth shut.

Martin Shkreli (inset) slammed Brooklyn prosecutors on Friday — dubbing them the “junior varsity” team — during a 10minute rant to reporters.

The notorious drugprice gouger waltzed out of the Brooklyn federal courtroom — where he’s being tried for securities fraud — and into an overflow room, where he whined about being blamed “for everything.”

“They blame me for capitalism,” Shkreli griped to reporters during the trial’s lunch break. “They blame me for EpiPen.”

The former pharmaceutical executive said the prosecutors in the Eastern District of New York in Brooklyn were “junior varsity” compared to their counterparts in the Southern District in Manhattan.

After calling out lawyers and critics, Shkreli took aim at Sarah Hassan, who testified Thursday that he tried to woo her in order to get her rich dad, Fred Hassan, to invest in one of his hedge funds.

“She is not a victim,” he said, adding that she made money off her investment with his hedge fund MSMB Capital.

Shkreli, 34, who is accused of running an $11 million Ponzi scheme, even took aim at his lawyer, Benjamin Brafman — insisting that news reports about him denying he was paid more than $4 million for legal services were inaccurate.

At a hearing last week, Brafman claimed the hefty advance was actually $800,000 short.

On Friday, an investor from Arizona who lost close to $5 million by investing in one of Shkreli’s failed hedge funds testified that the “Pharma Bro” repeatedly pumped him for more money.

“Martin was young, smart, a little cocky. I liked Martin. New biotech — I was interested in his ideas,” Josiah Austin, 70, testified. “He wanted to make a lot of money.”
