Iggy gets scoop himself

- Post wire reports

Andre Iguodala reportedly is resigning with the Warriors, according to a very reliable source.

“Sources close to Andre Iguodala reporting agreed to terms to return to the bay ...” was tweeted from Iguodala’s verified account.

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported the deal is for $48 million over three years, citing league sources.

While the Warriors were busy making moves to defend their title, other teams were trying desperately to close the gap.

Jrue Holiday joined AllStar Anthony Davis in making a long-term commitment to remain with the Pelicans. If all goes as New Orleans plans, DeMarcus Cousins ultimately will follow suit.

At the very least, the small-market Pelicans are now in position to play one full season with their own version of a “Big 3.”

The 27-year-old Holiday, who became an unrestricted free agent at midnight Friday, agreed Saturday morning to a five-year, $126 million contract with New Orleans. Holiday’s agent, Jason Glushon, said the deal could be worth as much as $150 million with incentives such as being named an All-Star or AllNBA, or hitting various statistical benchmarks.

The Post had reported the Knicks were interested in acquiring Holiday.

The Pelicans weren’t done talking to guards Saturday, either: New Orleans has engaged in talks with Nick Young and Ty Lawson during the day, according to reports.

Jrue Holiday has spent the past four seasons with the Pelicans since being acquired in a trade with the 76ers, where he spent his first four seasons. Because Holiday last played for New Orleans, NBA rules allowed the Pelicans to offer him a five-year contract, one year more than other teams.
