MY WEEKEND:

“I’m definitely a dyed-in-the-wool New Yorker,” declares Kyra Sedgwick, who was born in Manhattan 51 years ago. Only here, says the Emmy-winning star of “The Closer,” can a celebrity walk undisturbed: “New Yorkers are too cool to tell you they recognize y

I love getting lost in Central Park. Kevin always knows exactly where he’s going — he literally knows every corner — but I can get lost after leaving 72nd Street. I don’t mind because it’s beautiful and I always see something new.

I’ll go out of my way to shop locally and eco-friendly, because Whole Foods has taken over. I can’t bear all the plastic there! We’re not big red-meat eaters, but there’s a really great butcher [Hudson & Charles] that opened at 87th and Amsterdam. It’s a tiny place and you can tell they really care. I like filet mignon, Kevin likes New York strip. They also have great mustard there, and hot sauce with Hudson Valley peppers. If you’re going to eat meat, know where it’s from.

One of the places I love to go shopping is CPW [Amsterdam at 84th]. I’ve been going there for 23 years, since my kids were tiny. It’s a great place for wearable clothes: T-shirts, jeans, sweats, but also pretty dresses, great scarves, nice jewelry. The owner, Linda Wolff, has been around for over 20 years, and she’s got an amazing clientele.

Gennaro, at 93rd and Amsterdam, is, like, the best Italian restaurant in the city. It’s cash-only and superchill, and the same waiters have been there forever. We usually get the specials, whatever they are. Kevin loves the pasta with sardines they make, and they always have nice wine.

Alex Stupak’s restaurants are amazing! I’m not really an East Side girl, even though I grew up there, but he just opened a place on Madison Avenue, Empellón, with, like, 30 kinds of salsa. His tacos are really unusual — pastrami! — and he puts things together you wouldn’t imagine would go together. The new place is bigger than the others, but the service is impeccable.

I love going by myself to the theater. I just saw “A Doll’s House, Part 2.” It’s not that I don’t love Kev. I do! But there’s something I love about being by myself. I can be walking alone, feeling autonomous, yet I’m surrounded by people who give me space.
