Axing Price a ‘joke’

President Trump joked on Monday that he would fire Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price if the Republican health-care measure fails to get enough votes.

The former “Apprentice” host made the reality TV-esque crack during a speech at the National Boy Scout Jamboree in West Virginia.

“Hopefully, he’s going to get the votes tomorrow to start on the path to kill this thing called ObamaCare,” Trump said. “He better get them, otherwise I’ll say, ‘ Tom, you’re fired.’ ”

Price, who was standing near Trump and has no say in the vote, seemed to take the quip in good humor.

The Senate is scheduled to vote Tuesday on the legislation.
