Betta believe he got prison time.

A Bristol, Conn., man was sentenced to 120 days in jail for cutting a 9-year-old boy’s betta fish in half, cops said.

Juan Vega, 33, pleaded guilty this week to breach of peace after being charged in April. He reportedly killed the fish during an argument with the boy’s mother.

A Virginia woman called cops to report noises she’d been hearing in her house — only to find out that it was actually a homeless man living in her attic.

Anthony Jones, 60, was arrested this week and charged with unlawful entry after officers found him chillin’ inside the woman’s residence in Arlington.

He had a backpack, some clothes and bedding.

A Colorado resident was sentenced this week to 16 years in prison for murdering a man who lashed out at him after buying a $10,000 bag of broccoli — under the assumption it was pot.

Sababu Colbert-Evans, 26, was arrested back in March, along with accomplice Tercell Davis. The pair reportedly sold the make-believe marijuana to two men in Aurora, both of whom they shot after the victims complained. One man died.

“This may be the first time that broccoli has been bad for someone’s health,” prosecutor­s said.
