Celebratin­g Take Your Child to Work Day is a splendid idea — unless you’re a getaway driver.

A Florida woman brought her 10-year-old along for a convenienc­e-store stickup, according to Marion County Sheriff ’s deputies.

The woman, 30, and her male partner in crime were caught after a brief chase and charged with armed robbery and felony child neglect. Teddy the bear is home. Luke Swofford, a 4-yearold from Rockwall, Texas, got his favorite stuffed toy back following an extensive airport search.

Luke left Teddy Bear on a bench by the baggage claim after returning home from a family trip to Colorado.

Airport security guards checked surveillan­ce video and traced the bear to a break room.

Knowing how to work a stick shift allowed a South Carolina woman to stick it to her kidnappers.

Three men grabbed Jordan Dinsmore, 20, and forced her to drive them in her car because they didn’t know how to work the stick, she told cops.

So while driving, she threw the car into neutral — bringing it to a crawl and allowing her to safely jump out. The three suspects were ultimately arrested.

“I’m going to be driving a manual for the rest of my life,” Dinsmore vowed.
