De Blasio’s Getting a Pass On His ‘Pay-to-Play’ Shtick

THE ISSUE: E-mails showing that Mayor de Blasio’s office gave special treatment to top donors.

People still don’t get it. Mayor de Blasio already said he doesn’t care (“‘Crooked’ Blas donors had direct line to Bill,” Aug. 5).

The pay-to-play accusations, homelessness, the MTA and the safety and security of New Yorkers are all of little concern to this mayor, who believes he is above the law. It’s someone else’s problem. He is untouchable. Robert Neglia The Bronx

Now that e-mails have been found showing de Blasio lied (again) about his high-paying donors receiving special favors, it’s time to find out the truth.

We should call de Blasio “The Teflon King,” at least of New York City. No matter what he says or does, the voters will re-elect him, probably by 70 percent.

But because he is mayor of one of America’s most liberal cities, he has nothing to worry about. Talk about job security.

Our impostor of a mayor is at it again with his lies and arrogance.

He continues to deny using pay-toplay tactics, yet stories continue to surface about him and his staff seeming to sell favors.

He couldn’t possibly get away with this if voters did the right thing and threw him out. What is it going to take to finally get rid of this complete phony, who only cares about himself ?
