Ex-DNC Boss’ Pathetic Defense

THE ISSUE: Former DNC head Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s defense of former IT worker Imran Awan.

-

Unfortunately, former DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz is not alone in thinking her irresponsible behavior is a civic virtue (“Debbie’s Delusional Denial,” Editorial, Aug. 5).

Many of our politicians believe the same thing.

It’s amazing that two heads of the DNC, Wasserman Schultz and former DNC vice-chair Donna Brazile, had to leave because of their deceptions during the height of a presidential election, and neither had to pay the piper. Everything just goes on as always. Bob Fishman Somers

Hillary Clinton’s DNC fixer is in a big fix herself due to her blatant bullying tactics in the budding criminal case against her long-time IT guy, Imran Awan.

Now this shameless political operator is playing the Islamophobia card to distract attention from the FBI investigation into this web of corruption.

Her unethical actions clearly call for a congressional censure. James Hyland Beechhurst

The news that Awan, an IT worker for the DNC, allegedly destroyed hard drives, borrowed money from a credit union and then tried to flee the country should’ve been frontpage news.

Why isn’t the Democratic Party concerned about his access to DNC passwords?

Everyone is focused on people meeting with Russia, but this person had access to electronic records. S.L. Chute Manhattan
