The Mooch: Hard act to follow

-

THE White House is having a hard time finding a follow-up act to short-lived communications director Anthony Scaramucci. Bill Shine, a former co-president of Fox News, was widely reported to have been in talks for the comms job, but sources tell Page Six he turned down the role. An insider told us, “Everybody they want isn’t interested.” After Stephen Miller raised eyebrows in his blast at CNN’s Jim Acosta, Trump’s team talked to Dave Lapan, the Department of Homeland Security press secretary who worked there with White House Chief of Staff Gen. John Kelly. Another contender is Blain Reth meier, a p.r. veteran who worked at Edelman and previously served as special assistant to former President George W. Bush for communications in both the National Economic Council and Homeland Security Council. He was called upon by the current administration to help guide Gen. Kelly through the Senate confirmation process for his previous role as secretary of Homeland Security. The White House didn’t comment. and collected until the fire department arrived. They never got the door fully open, so everyone had to climb though the door to get out,” a spy said. Pharrell was in good spirits when he hit the stage. “Well, we were stuck in the elevator, but now I’m here. It was hot in there!” he said. Kelly Rowland, Christina Milian, Skeet Ulrich and Apryl Jones attended with their families.
