Weird BUT true

A New Jersey woman got her wedding ring back — nine years later.

Brick Township residents Margaret and Justin Mussel lost the 1.1-karat diamond in a white gold band while on a trip to Italy.

They recently went back to Italy, which is when Justin spotted something shinning from a sidewalk crevice — and it was that lost ring.

“I thought maybe it was a coin or something, but never in my wildest dreams did I think we’d ever actually find that ring again nine years later,” Justin said. What a sweet deal. Workers at Ellen’s Homemade Ice Cream in Charleston, W.Va., handed out coupons for free scoops to anyone with a parking ticket on their windshield.

They wanted to make sure people parking and shopping downtown didn’t leave with a sour taste in their mouths.

An Oregon family’s 18month-old golden retriever, Kenyon, dug up their backyard and found what they thought was a time capsule — but it was actually 15 ounces of black tar heroin.

Yamhill County sheriff ’s deputies rewarded Kenyon with a ribbon and named him an honorary narcotics dog.

They got lucky even before landing in Las Vegas.

Sin City cops are investigating complaints that a couple on an Atlanta-to-Vegas Southwest Airlines flight were engaged in sexual activity mid-flight.

They allegedly kept going even after warnings from crew to stop, officials said.

A judge in India granted a woman’s divorce — because her husband wouldn’t build a toilet inside their home.

Indian law only allows divorce in limited cases — such as for domestic violence or cruelty. The woman claimed that having to go out in fields in public amounted to torture.

“We spend money on buying tobacco, liquor and mobile phones, but are unwilling to construct toilets to protect the dignity of our family,” the court pointed out.
