The season’s best simmering feuds

-

MIKA and Joe vs. Trump. The “Morning Joe” on- and off-air couple has been highly critical of President Trump, who stepped it up a notch in June by hurling insults at them on Twitter, including one calling Scarborough “Psycho Joe” and claiming Brzezinski’s face was “bleeding” from a face-lift during a trip to Mar-a-Lago. In July, Trump called Joe “crazy” and Mika “dumb as a rock.” The TV duo insist that the only way Trump will get back in their good graces is by resigning. Kelly Osbourne vs. Starbucks. Kelly got her knickers in a twist when she was refused entry to a Starbucks bathroom during June’s NYC Pride parade after hours on a float, causing her to wet herself, and she detailed the entire loo hullabaloo on Twitter. An apologetic Starbucks said that there’s no customer comfort room at that location, and customers are asked to go to the next store a few blocks away. Small comfort for Kelly, who tweeted, “I have piss in my shoe.” Jon Stewart vs. Anthony Cumia. The two comics came face-to-face at New York’s Comedy Cellar in August, and things got ugly very quickly, with the former “Daily Show” host calling Cumia a “f - - king piece of s - - t,” and the shock jock responding, “Jon Stewart is a f - - king a - - hole.”

Amir Khan vs. estranged wife

Faryal Makhdoom. Britain’s biggest scandal of the summer went 12 rounds of brutal blows. Star boxer Khan announced his split from his wife on Twitter — then accused her of moving on “quick” with fellow prize fighter Anthony Joshua. While Joshua denied ever having met Makhdoom, she jabbed back, claiming it was Khan who had cheated. The pair traded a flurry of below-the-belt punchlines, then announced that they were throwing in the towel and getting a divorce.

Katy Perry vs. Taylor Swift. It started in 2013, when Perry poached a trio of dancers from Swift’s Red World Tour, which Swift said was an attempt to “sabotage an entire arena tour.” Then came diss tracks from each artist, passive-aggressive tweets and barbed comments. Perry said last week, “I’d love to take [the beef] off the barbecue,” but Swift instead fanned the flames, debuting her latest fiery music video at the MTV Video Music Awards and not even bothering to show up as Perry fell flat as host.

WINNER: Kay-Tay. This “Bad Blood” isn’t new, but summer only heated up their rivalry.
