Worker ‘balled’ out, axed

They both got sacked. Justin Bieber took a blow to the family jewels while playing soccer — and his brief stay at a Long Island hospital led to rumors he had an STD and a worker’s firing for accessing his files.

The pop superstar showed up at the New Hyde Park ER back in May after he “WebMD’d himself ” into thinking he’d twisted his testicles, a source told TMZ in a new report.

The Bieb’s self-diagnosis — testicular torsion — is a serious ailment that occurs when the spermatic cord twists and obstructs blood supply to the testes and usually requires surgery.

It turned out Bieber (inset) was simply suffering from a swollen gonad, but his visit set tongues wagging and the workers started spreading gossip that he had an STD, according to the report.

That’s when, the hospital claims, then-staffer Kelly Lombardo got too nosy and illegally accessed the pop star’s file. They then fired her for being “an immoral employee,” she blasts back in court papers.

Lombardo insists she heard the gossip about Bieber’s diseased ding-a-ling — but did not peep at his private medical information.

The former hospital worker claims she really was pushed out for being a woman and has now filed a wrongful-termination complaint with the New York State Division of Human Rights. “My client never accessed Mr. Bieber’s medical file, and yet she was fired for doing so,” Lombardo’s attorney, David H. Rosenberg, told The Post.

“She was falsely accused because she was a woman.”

Lombardo’s former co-workers declined to comment on Bieber’s ER visit or the rumor, citing her termination. Lombardo could not be reached.

Bieber’s reps did not return a request for comment.

The news of Bieber’s distressing injury broke just a day after nudes of the “Baby” singer were posted to the Instagram account of his former gal pal Selena Gomez.

The snaps, which Variety reported were the result of hacking, depicted Bieber completely naked and frolicking in Bora Bora in 2015.
