The Left’s Bashing Isn’t Changing Pro-Trump Jews

-

Regarding the coalition of left-leaning Jewish organizations that want more Jews to speak out against the president: Not all Jews hate Trump (“Stop Jew-Shaming,” Seth Mandel, PostOpinion, Aug. 25).

Trump is more reliably supportive of Jews and Israel than Democrats.

Why the Jewish people of New York and America keep voting for Democrats, I will never know. All you get from the left is anti-Semitism. Andrew Rizzo Jackson, NJ

For those leftist Jews who want to use their religion only as a weapon against those with whom they disagree, I suggest they open up the Torah and read it.

For those leftist rabbis who no doubt know what the Torah is, it’s time to choose between your religion and your political beliefs. Steve Heitner Port Jefferson Station

Trump has been called a plethora of disgusting and hideous things, including “Nazi.” Being Jewish, I find that most offensive.

My issue with the liberal Jewish groups that criticized Trump for the way he called out violent groups is that they didn’t address the fact that he’s called a Nazi.

These fools fail to see that the destruction of historical statues and monuments is the alt-left’s attempt to erase and revise history.

Have they forgotten Hitler’s Brown Shirts, who attacked German-Jewish citizens and businesses, blocked university attendance and burned books?

These groups are criticizing the wrong people. Norm Misrok Bellmore

As a Jewish non-liberal, I’ve seen first-hand how liberal Jews feel about me.

Maybe I should apply for a job in the Trump administration? He looks like he can use one more conservative Jew working for him.

And maybe I’ll ruffle a few more feathers of my Jewish liberal friends. Bret Wallach Glen Cove
