The wife of Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin was eviscerated online for tackily plugging her luxury clothes while on a taxpayer-funded trip. Mistaking public service for a Kardashian selfie, she then tried to belittle a commenter who called the move “distasteful.” She had to apologize, and Mnuchin had to pay for the trip.

The Mooch

They really screwed the Mooch. Not only did Anthony Scaramucci sell his company to take a job in the Trump White House, but he missed the birth of his child, was divorced by his wife, and did the dirty work of firing Sean Spicer and Reince Priebus. He was repaid by getting fired after just 10 days on the job as communications director.

Usher

As Kanye West memorably rapped, “Mybest friend said she used to f - - k with Usher.” Well, not anymore. In July, the first of five of Usher’s alleged former lovers came forward, claiming that the singer infected them with herpes. Then, four more people came forward, suing for up to $20 million each. This summer, Usher has really put the “ex” in Valtrex.

Kathy Griffin

She had a jarring new sensation this summer: getting attention that she didn’t like. After posing for a picture while holding a bloody effigy of Donald Trump’s severed head, the comedienne was condemned by pretty much everybody, lost her deal with defecation aide Squatty Potty and was disowned by CNN and pal Anderson Cooper.

Blac Chyna

She seemed to have come to terms with the indignity of being engaged to Rob Kardashian. But even she didn’t sign up for having Rob post explicit pictures of her as “revenge porn,” and then accuse her of infidelity. Chyna issued a cease and desist against Rob, who is the father of her child. They are trying to reach an out-ofcourt settlement.
