Hillary’s E-mail Scandal: Is the Case Really Closed?
Hillary Clinton has been unethical since she left college (“Reopen Hillary’s e-mails,” Michael Goodwin, Sept. 3).
Her actions are wellknown, yet voters, politicians and officials have turned a blind eye.
If any investigation found her guilty, she’d likely receive nothing more than a slap on the wrist. Stanley Levy Delray Beach, Fla.
Goodwin’s disgustingly vindictive and partisan attack on Clinton’s alleged e-mail “crimes” is nothing but a lame attempt to distract from the catastrophe of the Trump presidency.
Goodwin stubbornly refuses to acknowledge that Clinton has been cleared of these charges.
The witch hunt against Clinton cost the taxpayers millions of dollars and failed to prove any of the accusations against her.
Leave her alone for once. Trump is the real villain. Robert Berger New Rochelle
There should definitely be a more thorough in- vestigation of the Clinton e-mail debacle.
She got a free pass from the Department of Justice. Former FBI Director James Comey basically cleared her before hearing witnesses.
Goodwin hit the nail on the head: Comey figured Clinton was a shoo-in, and he would’ve had the goods on her after the election.
I know just the man to investigate Clinton: Rudy Giuliani. Walter Murray Clearwater, Fla.
Enough already. Yes, we know the Clintons are bad (I didn’t vote for her or Trump), but give it up already.
Trump was supposed to be the better choice. Arguably, he’s become worse.
Goodwin has to stop campaigning for Trump. Michael Costagliola Monroe Township, NJ
Comey had already drafted a letter clearing Clinton of any wrongdoing before she was even interviewed, evidence of his complete disregard for justice.
It’s sickening that he prances around like a moral, righteous example, when all along he leaked information to the media and colluded with ex-Attorney General Loretta Lynch to downplay the e-mail scandal.
Comey has shown that he is anything but a dedicated public servant. He’s just another partisan pawn in the left’s pocket. Justin Martin Manchester Center, Vt.
