Amex-theft plea deal a real beauty

Model beats deport

She won’t have to catwalk her way out of the US.

A former “Project Runway Canada” contestant was thrilled Tuesday to learn she avoided deportation for racking up $3,400 on a stranger’s credit card — including paying vet bills for her pooch.

“I’m extremely relieved,” said leggy brunette Chanel Michaels (pictured), 31, who was arrested in July on a slew of felony raps.

“It is an amazing deal and I won’t get deported,” the Canadian citizen gushed as she sashayed down the hallway of Manhattan Criminal Court in a beige sweater and leggings.

Michaels — who said she is signed with Elite Model Management — copped a plea to disorderly conduct as a violation in exchange for doing two days of community service.

She must also pay full restitution and turn over the Apple laptop, iPod Touch and watch she bought with the stolen American Express card on April 25.

“I was not in a good state,” said Michaels, who once posed as a stewardess for a Super Bowl Budweiser ad. “It was a couple of days before I went to rehab. I was just being completely dumb.”

She found the card in a cab the night before and first used it to pamper her Pomeranian, Jack, named after Jack Kerouac.

“He’s my baby, and I knew he would miss me,” she said.

She spent $249 at Heart of Chelsea Animal Hospital on shots and worm pills and then swung by a Petco to buy him toys and treats.

She also lavished on herself with gifts, and stopped by the Apple Store, B&H Photo and Home Depot, according to court papers.

“I feel like s--t,” she said of the crime, blaming the poor judgment on an addiction.

“I’m not a calculating, vindictive person. I’m a happy Canadian.”

The willowy stunner said she can now focus on her acting career and writing her memoir.
