Kristaps Porzingis was delivered his ticket to Tarrytown on Tuesday, courtesy of a Slovenian stud that Knicks fans can only hope will make the same trek in the future.

Next year’s potential No. 1 pick, Luka Doncic scored 27 points and added nine rebounds to lift Slovenia past Porzingis’ Latvia 103-97 in the quarterfinals of the European Championships in Istanbul.

Porzingis scored 34 points on 12-of-21 shooting and grabbed six rebounds against the 6-foot-7 Doncic, an 18-year-old small forward/shooting guard that could be coming stateside next year to play in the NBA.

“[Porzingis] is an amazing player and a good person. And I hope I can be like him,” Doncic told Eurohoops.net. “He is an amazing player. Maybe the best player in the world.”

Doncic made 7-of-14 field goals, including four 3-pointers, in the win.

“[Doncic] is a diamond of European basketball,” Slo- venia’s Goran Dragic, a guard for the Heat, told Eurohoops.net. “People back home are really happy that we got him. Don’t get me wrong, he’s still a kid.”

Doncic will see another Knick in the semifinal when Slovenia takes on Willy Hernangomez and Spain, an 84-72 winner over Germany in another quarterfinal. Hernangomez scored seven points and grabbed four rebounds.

Latvia’s exit from the tournament means that Porzingis should have plenty of time to get to New York for the start of training camp Sept. 25.

Before the game was over, Porzingis got into a scuffle with ex-Knick Anthony Randolph, who hooked arms and pulled Porzingis after the two battled for a rebound. They had to be separated and received matching technical fouls.

“[Randolph] was playing dirty from the beginning,” Porzingis told Eurohoops.net. “He was trashtalking. What happened in the end was natural.”
