Gals say bald is beautiful

It’s the bald truth: Women find hairless men the most sexy, a new study claims.

University of Pennsylvania researchers asked students to rate photos of guys — based on attractiveness, confidence and dominance — and bald men placed first.

Balding men who willingly shaved their hair led the way because they were perceived as going against the traditional norms, according to the study, published in the Journal Of Social Psychological and Personality Science.

“Instead of spending billions each year trying to reverse or cure their hair loss, the counterintuitive prescription of this research to men experiencing male pattern baldness is to shave their heads,” the study notes.

“The results of these comparisons should shed light on whether men with thinning hair can alter their interpersonal standing by shaving their heads.”

Baldness made guys appear up to an inch taller and 13 percent stronger.

In photos used in the study, the men’s hair was digitally removed to show the same person with and without his locks.

Researchers also asked male students to rate the attractiveness of other men and found the results were the same.
