‘Dotard’ Don fires back

-

President Trump once again mocked Kim Jong-un on Friday night, calling the North Korean leader “little Rocket Man” during a campaign rally in Alabama for Sen. Luther Strange.

“We can’t have madmen out there shooting rockets all over the place,” Trump said, referring to the despotic leader of the nucleararmed nation.

“Rocket Man should have been handled a long time ago by Clinton . . . But I’m gonna handle it.”

Trump also said that he has been working with Chinese President Xi Jinping to halt North Korea’s nuclear program.

“I have to tell you, I made a friend in China, Mr. Xi,” Trump said. “And yesterday he basically took the banking industry from North Korea.”

Trump made the remarks a day after the North Korean dictator called him a “deranged US dotard.”

The war of words began anew Tuesday when Trump threatened to “totally destroy” North Korea during a combative address to the UN General Assembly.

“Rocket man is on a suicide mission for himself,” Trump declared at the world body.

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Times reported Friday that Trump was repeatedly warned not to personally attack Kim during the speech.

The paper said his blustery statements about Kim were not included in a draft of the speech that was vetted by several senior officials on Monday.

The aides had argued for months against making the attacks personal, warning it could backfire.
