OFFENSE

For three quarters, it was abysmal before 24-point fourth quarter eruption. Numbers look good for

Eli Manning (35-of-47, 366 yards, 3 TDs) but two INTs and first one was a killer on a terrible underthrow. No sacks allowed, but running game (49 yards) still embarrassingly bad. Odell

Beckham Jr. (9 catches, 79 yards, 2 TDs) is great, but first TD celebration was disgusting. Monster 77-yard catch-and-run TD for Sterling

Shepard (7-133, 1 TD) and finally some action for Brandon Marshall (8-66).

DEFENSE

Handed a lead twice in fourth quarter and handed it back both times. That is bad work. Rough outing for Eli Apple (78 yards in penalties on two pass interference calls). Eagles were supposed to be lousy runners yet they gashed this run-defense for 193 yards, which is shocking and inexcusable. Not getting game into OT was shameful.

SPECIAL TEAMS

Brad Wing picked a bad time for a lousy punt, a 28-yard shank out of bounds that gave the Eagles life on their game-winning drive. Excellent work by Aldrick

Rosas, who limited the damage having to kick off from his 20 and later pinned the Eagles deep with a kickoff to the goal line. Rosas also hit 42-yard field goal. Sloppy invalid fair catch penalty from Dwayne Harris. Coverage unit allowed 35-yard kickoff return.

COACHING

Play-calling at goal line at end of first half was abysmal. You go to the shotgun from the half-inch line? How weak is that? Going up-tempo was smart move by Ben

McAdoo and adding more slants got the ball out of Manning’s hand quickly.

Steve Spagnuolo has lost his golden touch as far as run defense, which has been bad and in this game was awful.
