Casa Picasso is up for sale

-

A mansion on the French Riviera where Pablo Picasso spent his final years is on the block for about $24 million.

The Notre Dame de Vie villa, where Picasso lived until his death in 1973, is being sold after its Dutch owner ran into financial difficulty, The Times of London said.

Picasso lived at the estate with his second wife and muse, Jacqueline Roque.

Roque, who was featured in more than 400 Picasso portraits, killed herself inside the mansion in 1986. Her daughter later sold the home to the cuurent owner.

The manse includes a solarium, pool house, gym and massage rooms, The Financial Times said.
