Weird BUT true

An alleged Florida bank robber should have Googled, “How to not get caught.”

Police say William Joe Johnson, 26, told them that he used Google to search for ways “to rob a bank.”

Johnson wound up going the old-fashioned route — pulling a pistol on the teller at a Pinellas Park bank. He made off with some dough, but was soon caught.

A new Google speaker set to hit shelves in a few weeks apparently comes with one major flaw: It eavesdrops.

An Android tech blogger stumbled upon the bug this week after using the gadget and noticing that it was littered with audio clips secretly recorded without his knowledge.

Google later said the flaw was caused by the Home Mini speaker’s touchpad.

The owner of the Albuquerque, NM, house used as Walter White’s home in the AMC TV series “Breaking Bad” has started putting up a fence around it to stop obsessed fans from recreating one of the show’s most iconic — and messiest — scenes.

People have been acting out a moment from the third season in which White hurls a pizza onto the roof of his home.

A mysterious white drone has been trying to lure children from an Ohio playground, using a speaker to talk to them in a computerized voice.

An Akron couple has reportedly spotted the drone on several occasions and said it tried to trick their two young children into following it.

“It keeps saying ‘Hey’ until you reply,” one of the kids said. May he text in peace. An Australian court is allowing a dead man’s unsent text message to serve as his will.

The man, 55, reportedly wrote the message just before taking his own life last year. Instead of leaving everything to his wife and son, he chose to give it to his brother.
