OFFENSE
The Giants as a ground-and-pound (148 rushing yards) operation? Hard to believe, right? This was an Orleans
Darkwa (21 carries, 117 yards) production, with Eli Manning (11-of-19, 128 yards, 1 TD) playing a supporting role. Only real target was rookie TE
Evan Engram (5 catches, 82 yards, 1 TD). Justin Pugh did a phenomenal job handling Von Miller (one sack) and D.J.
Fluker makes a difference in run blocking. Imagine winning with two receptions (22 yards) from wide receivers.

DEFENSE
This looked like the 2016 unit, didn’t it? Dominance by Jason Pierre-Paul (three sacks), pick-six interception from Janoris Jenkins, an INT for Landon Collins, goal-line stand, a shutdown of a potent running game (46 yards) and rough treatment of QB Trevor Siemian. Tackling was vastly improved. Best game of season by Keenan Robinson and Damon “Snacks’’ Harrison.

Michael Hunter had a 15-yard kick catch interference penalty on punt coverage in the first quarter. Brad Wing uncorked a 58-yard punt in the second quarter. Roger Lewis pounced on an onside kick late in the game.

COACHING
Big move by Ben McAdoo, giving up play-calling to his offensive coordinator, Mike
Sullivan, who smartly rode the ground game. McAdoo gets plenty of heat and deserves credit for keeping the team together during such a turbulent week. Steve
Spagnuolo got pressure with his front four and put together a game plan that obliterated RBs C.J. Anderson and Jamaal Charles.
