Stone dating ‘SNL’ director

EMMA Stone has a new man in her life: She’s dating “Saturday Night Live” writer and segment director Dave McCary, as exclusively revealed on “Page Six TV.”

McCary’s just the latest “SNL” staffer to date a Hollywood star who appeared on the show. Ben Affleck’s dating show producer Lindsay Shookus, and “Weekend Update” anchor Colin Jost started seeing Scarlett Johansson after she hosted the show and later made a cameo as Ivanka Trump. Page Six exclusively revealed they were caught kissing at an “SNL” after-party in May.

Stone — who stars as Billie Jean King in the film “Battle of the Sexes” — hosted the NBC sketch show in December, but she also appeared as a surprise guest this month for its season premiere, when her “La La Land” costar Ryan Gosling hosted. She then attended the after-party at hot spot Tao.

McCary has worked at “SNL” since 2013. The 32-year-old also directed this year’s quirky indie movie “Brigsby Bear,” starring “SNL” comic Kyle Mooney, who’s also a childhood pal. McCary and Stone were spotted together at the movie’s premiere in June.

Stone, 28, split in 2015 from her boyfriend Andrew Garfield, with whom she starred in “The Amazing Spider-Man” in 2012.

There was speculation over the summer that they were rekindling their romance, but the purported fling seemingly fizzled.

The two have reportedly remained friends, and Garfield recently said of Stone, who won a Best Actress Oscar for “La La Land,” “I’m nothing but supportive and her biggest fan . . . I love Emma.”

Stone has said of Garfield, “[He’s] someone I still love very much.”

She’s currently filming Netflix’s upcoming series “Maniac” in New York with Jonah Hill for Cary Fukunaga, who directed the first season of “True Detective.”

Reps for Stone and “SNL” did not respond for comment.
