Terrorists are using vehicles in deadly attacks:
Barcelona, Aug. 17: A jihadist plows a van through a bustling street in the Spanish city’s popular Las Ramblas shopping district, killing 13 and injuring more than 100. Hours later and 70 miles away, five thugs in a sedan ram pedestrians in the seaside town of Cambrils, leaving seven hurt. The Cambrils terrorists are killed at the scene, while the Las Ramblas fiend is shot dead days later as he shouts, “Allahuakbar!’’ London, June 3: Three terrorists launch an assault on pedestrians on London Bridge and Borough Market, murdering eight and injuring 48. The killers first fatally mow down two victims with a van on the bridge, then crash into a pub and leap out to kill six with knives. Cops shoot the killers dead.
Stockholm, April 7: A terrorist swipes a beer truck and rams pedestrians in the Swedish capital, killing five and injuring 15. The apprehended suspect is an ISIS sympathizer who has praised the Boston Marathon bombings.
London, March 22: A British jihadist drives a rented gray SUV into a crowd on Westminster Bridge, killing four and injuring 49. He then crashes the vehicle outside Parliament, leaps out and fatally stabs a policeman. The killer is shot dead.
Berlin, Dec. 19, 2016: A Tunisian refugee hijacks a large black tractor-trailer and rams it into a Christmastime crowd at a packed market in the German capital, killing 12 and wounding nearly 50. He had been on authorities’ radar for possible terror ties, but the government said it didn’t have laws in place to deport him. Nice, July 15, 2016: A Tunisian-born terrorist plows a massive rented cargo truck into a crowd in the French Riviera town during a Bastille Day celebration, slaughtering 86 and wounding 450. Witnesses report that the killer shouted “Allahuakbar’’ as he was slain.
