Exec parties as Harvey
WHILE the UK’s Telegraph listed Harvey Weinstein as No. 1 on its list of “8 sexist and inappropriate Halloween costumes to avoid in 2017”— not everyone got the memo. We hear one blue-blooded CEO showed up at his club’s swanky annual Halloween bash dressed up as the disgraced movie mogul — in a hotel bathrobe, with a pillow plumping his belly. Many were horrified. But one insider pointed out that either way, the details were off. “His robe said ‘Beverly Hills Hotel’ and ‘HW’ ” huffed an eagle-eyed spy, “Of course, it should have said ‘Peninsula Hotel.’ ” Plus, “He should’ve been carrying a cellphone.” The Peninsula Beverly Hills is where pervy Weinstein allegedly sexually harassed Gwyneth Paltrow, Ashley Judd and others. Other no-no’s on the staid Telegraph’s list of ill-advised but topical costumes include Hugh Hefner, Melania Trump, “Moana” and KKK members. Reports have said that Weinstein Halloween masks went up for sale on eBay. But a rep for the auction site told UK newspaper the Sun: “Any [masks] that appear will be immediately removed and sellers will face consequences.” Meanwhile, the LA Times reported on Tuesday that British police are investigating 11 allegations of sexual assault against Weinstein. The paper reported that the alleged attacks involved seven women, and that nine of them were reported to have occurred in the UK. It claimed three women had come forward to police in the past week, including one who claimed she was attacked in the early 1990s. Weinstein's rep has denied that the mogul has engaged in non-consensual sex.
