'Gossip' star a 'rapist': actress
Former “Gossip Girl” star Ed Westwick denies rape allegations made by a California actress, and Los Angeles cops are now investigating, authorities said Tuesday.
Kristina Cohen, 27 — who has appeared in “Californication’’ and the Web’s “Ladies Like Us’’ — wrote on Facebook Monday that the attack occurred when her then-boyfriend, a pal of Westwick, brought her to the actor’s home three years ago.
“I wanted to leave when Ed suggested, ‘ We should all f--k,’ ” Cohen wrote.
But her boyfriend didn’t want to go, Cohen said, so she went to take a nap in a guest bedroom. Cohen said she was awakened by Westwick penetrating her with his fingers.
“I told him to stop, but he was strong. I fought him off as hard as I could, but he grabbed my face in his hands, shaking me, telling me he wanted to f--k me,” Cohen wrote. “I was paralyzed, terrified. I couldn’t speak, I could no longer move. He held me down and raped me.”
Westwick denied the claim Tuesday.
“I do not know this woman,” the 30-year-old actor wrote on Instagram. “I have never forced myself in any manner on any woman. I certainly have never committed rape.”
But Cohen filed a police report Tuesday with the LAPD, prompting a probe, according to Deadline Hollywood.
Former child actor Blaise Godbe Lipman, who has leveled his own sexharassment claim against a Hollywood agent, told the Web site that Cohen “came over to my home the following morning and told me everything. She was in a state of shock. It was without a doubt a rape.”
Cohen’s sister, Katalina Colgate, added that “very shortly after it happened, she told me that she was raped.”
