Rigging the Election: How Hillary Hijacked DNC

-

With ex-Democratic National Committee Chair Donna Brazile and Sens. Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren all going after corrupt Hillary Clinton and the DNC, there is no doubt in the minds of many — Democrats, Republicans and independents — that if Sanders had been nominated, the Democrats would now be in control of the White House (“Media had Hill’s ills covered . . . up,” Michael Goodwin, Nov. 8).

The DNC’s failure to nominate Sanders gave us President Trump, who has a hard time acting like a grown-up. John Lemandri Williamsburg, Va.

According to Brazile, Hillary Clinton bought and paid for the DNC.

One might think this would’ve caused the convention to favor Clinton over her surprisingly strong opponent.

So to assuage any such fears, the bill of sale included this lawyerly language: “Nothing in this agreement shall be construed to violate the DNC’s obligation of impartiality and neutrality through the Nominating process.” The only thing they forgot to add was the wink. Revelations about the Clintons’ control over the DNC and the failure of Hillary’s election campaign isn’t news.

It’s confirmation of ev- erything we already knew about the Clintons. Jack Kaufman Long Beach

Brazile said she considered replacing Clinton as the party’s presidential candidate when the campaign had taken on “the odor of failure.”

There you have Merriam-Webster dictionary’s newest entry: “a campaign with such a rancid stench that it fails to defeat a reality challenged TV host.”

And the word is “smellary.” Vin Morabito Scranton, Pa.

Look at the DNC as a used-car salesman trying to hawk a lemon.

It tried to market Clinton to a gullible costumer as safe, dependable and trustworthy, all while knowing she had dangerous faults that could do considerable harm. Robert Neglia The Bronx
