Minn.’s fair fight

Minnesota hopes to host the first World’s Fair on US soil in nearly 40 years, but it will have to beat out bids by Poland’s third-largest city, Lodz, and Buenos Aires.

The Bureau of International Expositions will pick the site of the 2022 or 2023 expo on Wednesday in Paris.

Minnesota’s theme is health and wellness.
