Yankee’s a dodger

THERE was an awkward — and somewhat unlikely — moment for Alex Rodriguez and Bethenny Frankel (above) last week. We’re told that A-Rod was shooting a commercial in an apartment across the hall from Frankel’s Soho pad, and the ex-Yankee appeared to hide to avoid talking to her. It’s unclear why A-Rod would want to duck the “Real Housewives” star. But Frankel revealed this year that she briefly dated Rodriguez years ago. Spies tell Page Six that A-Rod, who’s dating Jennifer Lopez, seemed in no mood for a reunion, and when Frankel appeared in the hallway on the way to her own abode, Rodriguez seemed to “lunge for the apartment” where the shoot was set up. Her rep declined to comment. His didn’t get back to us.
