Conservative: Media Ignores 26th Massacre Victim

News media outlets around the country “are having difficulty counting” the correct numbers of victims in the Texas church massacre, says Paula Bolyard at PJ Media. That’s because the 26th victim was an unborn child and many outlets have “gone to great pains to avoid reporting that.” Or, “if they did report the baby’s death, they reported it as a footnote, careful to separate the unborn child from other victims,” as if the death toll consisted of “25 real people” and “a creature belonging to another species.” Why all the verbal gymnastics? Because “they’re so firmly tethered to their lie — that the unborn child in his mother’s womb” is “merely a blob of cells that can be destroyed at will.” But “the tragedy in Texas exposes their deception.”
