Weird BUT true

-

A package containing a dog’s head was lost in the mail — and Texas veterinarians are barking mad.

The dog noggin was supposed to be sent to a lab in Austin and tested for rabies after the pooch bit a worker at Bright Star Veterinary Clinic in Sulphur Springs.

But the lab never received the creepy delivery . . . and the vets have no clue where it went.

A Maryland man won a $50,000 jackpot because he stopped for a toilet break.

The 49-year-old was on his way to work when he pulled over to take a whiz at a gas station in Baltimore.

On a whim, he bought two $30 scratch-off tickets from a vending machine. The first one won him the jackpot — and he wasn’t finished being lucky, because the second was good for $100.

This is no fish tale: Blue whales are right-“handed.”

The massive mammals favor their right side when lunging for food, a new study claims.

The whales, which can grow as long as three school buses, catch more crustaceans when using that side of their body, according to the report published in Current Biology.

Talk about a crooked businessman.

The FBI is on the hunt for a dapper Florida bandit who robs banks wearing upscale business attire.

The so-called “Business Bandit” sports a GQ-style driving cap, ties and buttondown shirts during the stickups. He has allegedly pulled off heists at three Palm Beach County banks.

Actor Sacha Baron Cohen says he’ll pay the fines of six tourists who were busted in Kazakhstan wearing “mankinis” made popular by his goofy movie “Borat.”

“Send me your details and proof that it was you, and I’ll pay your fine,” Cohen posted on Facebook.

The six men, who hail from the Czech Republic, were detained and fined $67 each for traipsing around in the teensy get-ups last month. Natalie O’Neill, Wires
