Another Eagles rout is in doubt
The Wild cat returns for his 21 st season in The Post. Including the 1997-2016 Bet tor’ s Guide, Cat’ s record in print stand sat 573-479(54.5percent) against the spread.
Bears (+13 ½) over EAGLES: Don’t believe this is as bizarre as it may appear at first glance. This is Philly’s easiest remaining regular-season spot (presuming Ezekiel Elliott makes it back for Dallas’ final two games). A threegame road trip follows. Eagles may believe they’re ready to go full-bore here, but at this price, entertain our skepticism. Even a narrow escape would set Philly minds right for the stretch run — while Bears fans reap rewards. Chicago keeps it close, for one unit. RAMS (-2½) over Saints: Rams HC Sean McVay’s defensive stalwarts hunkered down after an uneven opening month, and only the Seahawks and Vikings have been able to subdue the revitalized Rams since. New Orleans was virtually left for dead in the late stages of the fourth quarter vs. the Redskins, but erased a 15-point deficit in the late going to prevail in OT. After outscoring foes 77-20 in the two weeks prior to that flying finish, you might believe Saint point production could moderate, at least a bit. Rams and Jared Goff take advantage, for one unit.
