Your handy guide to Thanksgivi­ng viewing

YOU’LL likely be spending a good chunk of Thanksgivi­ng in front of the TV, starting with the annual parade in New York City and ending with NFL games and original sitcom episodes. But there’s plenty more — including marathons and classic movies.

“MACY’S THANKSGIVI­NG DAY PARADE” (9 a.m., NBC)

The 91st annual festival of balloons, floats, cheerleade­rs and marching bands is upon us. Matt Lauer, Savannah Guthrie andd Al Roker host singers Patti atti LaBelle and Gwen Stefani, promoting her upcoming NBC holiday special by singing “White Christmas.” Telemundo will simulcast cast the parade in Spanish with hosts Carlos Ponce, Jessica essica Carrillo and Karim Mendiburu.

“THE GODFATHER” AND “THE GODFATHER, PART II” (9 a.m. and 1 p.m., AMC)

The most famous gangster movie of all time, and its sequel, will air continuous­ly all day on AMC starting at 9 a.m. (“The Godfather”) and 1 p.m. (“The Godfather, Part II”). Each movie will then re-air. Marlon Brando won his second Oscar for his portrayal of Don Corleone, the mob boss of the ambitious Corleone family. The 1972 Best Picture also made Al Pacino an internatio­nal star. “The Godfather, Part II” (1974) also won Best Picture and a Best Supporting Actor statuette for Robert De Niro.

“GONE WITH THE WIND” (9 a.m., Sundance)

Tara, the glorious antebellum plantation mansion lived in by Scarlett O’Hara (Vivien Leigh), will be burning all day as Sundance airs the most enduring classic American film. Scarlett’s romance with Rhett Butler (Clark Gable) is still smokin’ all these years later. Fun fact: original cast member Olivia de Havilland, who plays meek Melanie, is 101 years old, lives in Paris and is currently suing FX, claiming it maligned her image on the limited series “Feud.”

“THE NATIONAL DOG SHOW” (noon, NBC)

John O’Hurley (“Seinfeld”) hosts the 16th annual talent contest for canine showoffs. Last year, 4-yearold Greyhound Gia was named Best in Show from among the seven group winners. Who will take her crown?

“RUNNING WILD WITH BEAR GRYLLS” MARATHON (noon, National Geographic)

Hollywood stars including Channing Tatum, Ben Stiller and Julianne Hough leave their pampered celebrity nests and get rugged with Bear.

NFL FOOTBALL: MINNESOTA VIKINGS AT DETROIT LIONS (12:30 p.m., Fox)

The Lions have beaten the Vikings three straight times and Detroit has won four straight on Thanksgivi­ng.

NFL FOOTBALL: LOS ANGELES CHARGERS AT DALLAS COWBOYS

(4:30 p.m., CBS)

“ANNE OF GREEN GABLES” (8 p.m., PBS)

The 2016 adaptation of L.M. Montgomery’s 1908 novel stars Martin Sheen and Ella Ballantine and follows the adventures of a young orphan on Prince Edward Island.

“YOUNG SHELDON” (8:30 p.m., CBS)

Sheldon (Iain Armitage) struggles with newfound popularity after utilizing statistics to help the football team.

NFL FOOTBALL: NEW YORK GIANTS AT WASHINGTON REDSKINS ( 8:30 p.m., NBC) “MOM” (9 p.m., CBS)

Bonnie (Allison Janney) suffers withdrawal after giving up cable TV to help Christy (Anna Faris) pay for her law school applicatio­ns.
