WHACK BACK AT VAC

-

Donald Tintle: Not that it matters much, but I buy your paper online in order to follow the Giants. I will be ending my subscription this month. I am a die-hard fan but this last week has been horrendous.

Vac: If Jerry Reese and Ben McAdoo are starting to affect OUR business, I must insist to John Mara: fire them YESTERDAY, please. Alan Hirschberg: Another horrendous special teams play contributes to a Jets loss, but Mike Westhoff gets lured out of the SNY studio to work for the ... Saints?

Vac: Just in case you thought the Giants’ dysfunction had made the Jets any smarter … @jmpdds: Is it really a shock that the guy with the ill-fitting suit was ill-fitted for the Giants’ head coaching job? @MikeVacc: “You may ask yourself …” Michael Tate: Porzingis is arguably the Knicks’ best player, but [Enes] Kanter — as demonstrated during his recent three-game absence, a three-game Knicks losing streak, and by his return Wednesday night, a Knicks victory — is the Knicks Most Valuable (indispensable) Player. Vac: Impossible as that might’ve been to believe six weeks ago … it’s true.

Guy Miller: As long as the Giants are in “evaluation” mode (and using Jets cast-offs to do so), might I suggest that Ben McAdoo coach the first half of the remaining games and Eric Mangini coach the second half?

Vac: And maybe Jerry Reese can hand the ball off to John Idzik at the half, too?
