Vexed Rex: Russ sanctions stay

Secretary of State Rex Tillerson blasted Russia Thursday for inciting violence in Ukraine by backing rebels, and vowed that the United States would keep sanctions in place until Moscow withdraws its forces from the country.

“We should be clear about the source of this violence,” Tillerson said in Vienna at a meeting of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe.

“Russia is arming, leading, training and fighting alongside anti-government forces. We call on Russia and its proxies to end its harassment, intimidation and its attacks on the OSCE special monitoring mission.”
