‘MS-13 abduct’ halt

Long Island police thwarted the attempted kidnapping of a 16-yearold boy by MS-13 gang members who allegedly planned to kill him.

Three known gang members and two MS-13 associates have been arrested, Suffolk County Police Commissioner Timothy Sini said.

He said four of the suspects are Brentwood HS students.

Officers witnessed the attempted abduction Wednesday afternoon and intervened.
