When worlds collide

-

They’re two of the most common names on Page Six — Jackson and Trump. But when the f uture Mrs. Trump Marla

Maples and La Toya Jackson crossed paths, it was anything but magical. In 1992, Page Six reported that the two hated each other. The feud allegedly began when Maples refused to pose for a picture with La Toya and was overheard calling her “low class.”

The Jackson sister called up Maples and let her have it.

“You are nothing but a Southern piece of trash,” Jackson reportedly said. “How can you call somebody low class? How low can you get, stealing another woman’s husband?”

Queried, a cagey Jackson told Page Six: “I made a call to her, but I won’t go into detail.” Maples’ spokesman, meanwhile, said, “Marla respects La Toya Jackson.”
