JETS NOTES

-

In the hallway, Bowles gave an exaggerated fist pump to a few media members joking about his reaction, and yelled: “Tiger Woods pump.”

➤ The tweaked hamstring that limited Robby Anderson in practice on Thursday doesn’t appear to be a concern. He practiced fully Friday, and will play Sunday in Denver.

“He was full-go today, looked good,” Bowles said. “That’s all we can go by.”

The 6-foot-3 Anderson leads the Jets in receiving yards (821), targets (86), yards per catch (16.8) and touchdowns (seven) in his second season in the league. His 49 receptions are second to Jermaine

Kearse, who has 51.

➤ Linebacker Bruce Carter (groin) will miss Sunday’s game. He will be replaced on special teams by Obum Gwacham, according to Bowles. Running back Matt Forte (knee) and right guard

Brian Winters (abdomen/ankle) are questionable and will be gametime decisions. After being limited on Wednesday and Thursday, cornerback Juston Burris (concussion) was full on Friday, and will play Sunday after missing last week’s win over the Chiefs.

➤ Linebacker Demario Davis (excused absence) didn’t practice Friday. He will meet the team in Denver, and is being listed as probable. The Jets flew out on Friday afternoon to get adjusted to the thin air.

➤ The Jets activated rookie cornerback Jeremy Clark, a sixthround pick from Michigan, and waived cornerback Robert Nelson on Friday afternoon. Clark began practicing in November after being placed on the Active/Non-Football Injury list on July 28 following an ACL tear last season at Michigan.
