JETS (+7) over Chargers: Even with extra rest, it’s going to be difficult for Chargers to carry themselves from threshold of stuffing Chiefs at Arrowhead — winding up out of control of their own destiny in the AFC. So long as Jets play keep-away and Bryce Petty stays steady ... fly with your Jets, for one unit.
Browns (+6¹/₂) over BEARS: Expect Bears to move forward behind Mitchell Trubisky, but they are not exactly a fine- tuned offensive machine, so don’t want to lay big points — even against league’s winless team. Browns broke schneid against Bolts in Week 16 a year ago, and with a date at Pittsburgh on the docket for Cleveland next week, X marks this spot. Cleveland rocks, for one unit.
